The Election of the 14th President of Baba Makhan Shah Lobana Foundation (Regd.), Chandigarh has concluded on 29-04-2021. The result of election was declared by Chairperson of the Election Commiittee on 29-04-2021 evening. Er. Harbhajan Singh has been elected as President for the session 2021-2024. Er. Harbhajan Singh associated with the Foundation for the last 20 years and worked as President for session 2007-2011 . The Chairperson of the Election Committee, the prominent personalities and the outgoing president greeted the elected president with the boque.

  • Our Mission

    Our mission is to fulfill the earmarked objects of the Foundation aims and achieving the same. The objects are to promote charity, welfare of the weaker sections irrespective of caste, creed or race. To promote and study the biography of Baba Makhan Shah Lobana Foundation (Regd.) and other eminent personalities including publication of monthly magazine. BMSL endeavors to curb social evils prevalent in the society such as dowry drug, abuse, dowry system, unwanted expenditure on function and cleanliness and other charitable work of Medical checkups, Social function and scholarships to economical weaker sections. To further the cause of charity promotion have lien with statuary Government, Social and various bodies to suggest and help to achieve objects of the welfare of society on the Sikhism.

  • Our Facilities

    BMSL is well established at Sector-30-A, Chandigarh having facilities of well knit complex units comprising Guru Ladho Re Auditorium having 450 spectators, Sant Prem Singh Banquet Hall with 400 & Basement of 250 person’s capacities for Langar. In addition to this Bhai Lakhi Shah Niwas & Bhai Mani Singh Block exists which are having Mini Hall, Mini Lecture Hall both having 120-150 person’s capacity. Apart from this there is residential accommodation having well furnished double bed & dormitory rooms. These facilities are providing on first come first basis and to the members of the Foundation for social & cultural functions. The much reasonable rates are charged from the student of community. The facilities are also provided for Health Care services i.e. Medical OPD, Clinical Testing Laboratory, Dental Care & Physiotherapy with Library & Guru Ghar facilities.

  • Our Vision

    The proposals for the period 2014-17 are to renovate some portion of the Bhai Lakhi Shah Niwas residential complex. Clinical Mobile Van for rural, needy and poor public. The education capital fund “Merit-cum-Means Scholarship has been included to help the cause of education to needy students. Establishing funds with the help of members, NRI and generous public. The funds proposed to be achieved in the from of “Corpus fund” FDR by adopting scholarship or by adopting category-wise by the Donors. In addition to this the intelligent students are to be facilitated by instituting award such as BMSL Puraskar Nishkam Yojna, Itihas Khoj Award & other awards. These are proposed to be established as corpus funds.
